Fontana Village Resort Reopens
It turns out Fontana Village indefinite closing wasn’t that long after all. Fontana Village re-opened August 17th. A message was posted on the Fontana Village website indicating they had scheduled their re-opening.
Information on who would now be operating the resort or any planned changes were sparse. The previous owners returned their lease. No word on who the new operators are or what the lease terms are.
The good news for those looking for lodging on their next trip to the Tail of the Dragon, is that the resort is back open and accepting reservations. However, many of the features including in person dining remained closed to comply with COVID orders.
