How did you get started?
As car enthusiasts, we started by working on our own cars in our garage, which soon turned into “Sunday Garage” days at our house. The only requirement to join was a willingness to learn—everyone had to work on their own car, and if they used a tool, they had to leave one behind for the next person. What began as a small gathering grew so much that we rented a small warehouse to work on cars part-time. The passion kept growing, and so did the demand, leading us to open full-time. Now, we proudly operate in two locations, continuing to fuel the same love for performance and innovation that started it all.
What do you specialize in?
At Apex MotorHaus, we specialize in high-performance upgrades and customization. Our services include ECU tuning, downpipes, suspension upgrades, wheels, and comprehensive service and maintenance. We also offer vinyl wraps, chrome deletes, and track prep inspections to ensure your car is both stylish and track-ready. For those looking to take their driving to the next level, we provide race car rentals, HPDE coaching, and performance driving packages. Plus, we offer secure and temperature control car storage for enthusiasts who want their vehicles kept in top condition. What are your favorite projects?
At Apex MotorHaus, our favorite projects involve working on race car enthusiasts’ vehicles and witnessing the joy on their faces as they push their limits on the track. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a driver overcome their fears, gain confidence, and fully experience the performance of their car. Whether it’s fine-tuning a machine for optimal track performance or coaching drivers to unlock their full potential, we take pride in being part of that journey.

What are your favorite projects?
One of Apex MotorHaus’ favorite projects was the first wet nitrous installation on a Mercedes E63 in the USA. This groundbreaking build pushed the limits of performance, showcasing our expertise in innovation and precision tuning. Seeing the transformation of the E63 and the incredible results on the track made this project truly unforgettable. It’s moments like these that fuel our passion for high-performance engineering.
What’s something you wish people knew before bringing their car in?

Jorge Reategui, the CEO, is a seasoned professional with 29 years of experience in high-performance cars, including nearly three decades of road course racing. Advice for those who love working on their own cars: Be patient, invest in the right tools for the job, and never cut corners on parts. Quality components make a difference in performance and longevity. When you get stuck, don’t rush—take a step back, analyze the situation, and then continue with a clear mind. The key to successful work on your car is persistence, precision, and a willingness to learn from every challenge.
What are you hoping your shop/company is doing a year from now?
Looking ahead, we hope that within a year, Apex MotorHaus will be expanding to new locations, making it even easier for clients to find us and bringing us closer to the car community. Our goal is to continue growing while staying true to our passion for high-performance cars, innovation, and top-tier service.
