Beyond The Grandstands – Drive Road Atlanta With Pro Race Car Driver Sabre Cook
There are a lot of on track experiences available to enthusiasts these days, from HPDEs and track days to organizations like Xtreme Experience where you can road high performance and exotic cars. However, for the track enthusiasts, nothing is quite like getting to drive one of America’s iconic tracks with an actual race car driver. Well, thanks to a partnership between Sabre Cook, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and JDX Racing, you’ll get a chance.

Sabre Cook‘s stock has never been higher as she is coming off a recent career best finish in IMSA’s Porsche Carrera Cup at Waktins Glen. Sabre is also the first female to ever compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America Series, where she has been competing since 2023.
This brand new experience features the ability to do lead follow paced laps on track behind Sabre as she drivers Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. In addition, off track access includes meet and greets, photo opps, tech talk, engineering chats and more. The event is going to be pretty exclusive. With just 25 experiences each of the event days, this will be vastly different than interactions you might expect from a race weekend.
The event will be happening during the Porsche Carrera Cup test weekend in the run up to Petit Le Mans on August 31st and September 1st, so this is more than just a staged social. It’s an opportunity to engage with a professional race team during an actual test weekend for one of the most critical events of the year.
About The Experience

Opportunities to participate are broken up into 2 levels, allowing you to tailor the experience and spend. The basic level, known as “Starter”, features the meet and greet access and starts at $450 for the day. This includes access to meet Sabre, get a tour of the track and her Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, and photo opps.
For those wanting to go further, there is also a VIP Experience. It builds on all of the activities in the starter package and includes Lead-Follow parade laps, Tech Talk, Lunch with Sabre and the team plus some team swag.

The team will also be doing similar experiences at Indianapolis Motor Speedway August 26th-27th and COTA on September 24th and 25th. Though those are probably a little bit farther of a drive for those of us in Atlanta, they may still be worth it, though.
