Split Decision Motorsports Picks Up New Partner Traction
Atlanta connected IMSA team Split Decision Motorsports No 88 announced yesterday they’ve picked up a new significant partner as they head into the final races of the year at the Motul Petit Le Mans next week, Traction, a recently rebranded insurance agency based in Atlanta. Traction joins other Split Decision partners such as Genie Garage Doors who are looking to take advantage of the added exposure Petit and the season podium case brings.
Split Decision Motorsports is battling to win the GSX class of the IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge in their BMW M4 GT4 car.. The Split Decision Motorsports team, behind driver Patrick Wilmot, is currently 2nd in the points in the GSX class heading into the final races of the year. A monumental accomplishment for a largely volunteer race team.
Split Decision came in a bittersweet 4th in last years GSX season championship, just missing the podium. In 2024, Split Decision has enjoyed consistent success, including their best finish very at Virginia International Raceway in August.
