UPDATED: Forza Motorsport 8 Is Launching In October With 500 Cars

On the heels of the latest Gran Turismo game from Sony, Forza Motorsport 8 is due to release soon. While a specific date hasn’t been set yet, we know it will be here in 2023. In fact, we now have a release date. Forza Motorsports 8 will launch October 10, 2023.

Platforms At Launch

Forza Motorsports 8 will launch on the new XBox Series X and S, as well as PC. Expect it to be available day one on Microsoft Game Pass. Sorry original XBox One and XBox One X/S owners, there are currently no plans or rumors that the app will be coming to the older consoles.

Vehicles In Forza Motorsports 8

Lots of rumors and lists flying, but several credible recent reports said it will have a whopping 500!!! cars at launch. It’s likely some of these will be available via DLCs and pre-order specials similar to Forza Motorsports 7. Still, it’s an incredible figure at launch even if it requires a special edition.

In addition to popular performance street cars, expect to continue to see IMSA/LeMans and Open Wheel special edition race cars. You very well could load up in your favorite GTD car and run Road Atlanta like you were in the Petit Le Mans.
