Atlanta Motorsports Park Announces Member Lounge Upgrade And New Cafe
While we’ve been teasing it privately for a few weeks now, Atlanta Motorsports Park today officially announced a number of significant upgrades to their member and guest facilities. The new upgrades include an expanded members lounge and viewing deck, as well as a new Cafe based out of the Kart building. Atlanta Motorsports Park released details of the expansions, and we also have some pictures of the construction going on.
As members of AMP and regular attendees of track day events, these are some welcome upgrades. The facilities have been fabulous, but the expanded facilities address a few of the things we wished AMP had: better track viewing locations and food.
Let’s dive into some of the details.
Members Viewing Deck
While AMP leads with the cafe, for ShiftAtlanta members we think the members viewing deck will be the star of the show. The upgrades include an expanded member lounge and a member’s-only viewing deck.
The viewing deck will extend from the edge of the building (where the existing deck is today) all the way to the track wall, literally sitting above sections of both the hot and cold pits.
You could hold your arm out and drop a quarter on the racing surface

Additional features on the viewing deck include being fully covered, which will be ideal during rainy events and member days, as well as seating, a fire pit and more. We are looking forward to using the deck as a great place to grab a beer and a cigar at the end of an event.
Refurbished Members Lounge
In addition to the new members sky deck, Atlanta Motorsports Park is significantly expanding and upgrading the members lounge. The new lounge area will be 720 square feet. It takes it’s design inspiration from a high end club or lounge like you’d find in a major urban area like Buckhead. According to one report the furnishings alone will cost upwards of $300,000.
…the first iteration of the AMP clubhouse contained a lounge and trackside viewing deck, but we knew that as our membership grew, they deserved more space, as well as more comfort. We wanted to seriously enhance what was being offered, crafting a dedicated space exclusively for members — one that couldn’t be rented out for other purposes. It’s a space for them to connect, hang and call their home.

Additional features will be an expanded TV viewing area with multiple screens, which will be perfect for F1 and other racing watch parties. There also will be a new bar area. Finally, food will be available, delivered directly from the new cafe at Atlanta Motorsports Park, called Fuel Kitchen Cafe.
New Cafe – Fuel Kitchen Cafe
In addition to the member upgrades, Atlanta Motorsports Park is finally getting it’s first restaurant. Known as the Fuel Kitchen Cafe, this new restaurant is more than your typical counter serve restaurant. Atlanta Motorsports Park describes it as having full gastropub style food, including burgers and sandwiches. The Fuel Kitchen Cafe will also have a full bar, complete with a selection of Craft Beers and Wines.
The New Fuel Kitchen Cafe will be located on the second floor of the Karting building. Hours were not released, but Atlanta Motorsports Park hints that it will stay open beyond traditional track hours and provide a further amenity to guest, members and condo owners.
In addition to the cafe, the kitchen expands Atlanta Motorsports Park catering capabilities. They also hint at adding a food truck, providing food options during special events without needing to leave track side.

We’ll be providing more details about the expansion soon. We’ll also be doing a complete walk through of the member experience at Atlanta Motorsports Park.
