Atlanta’s premiere motorsports event, Petit LeMans, has it’s 2021 date and tickets are officially on sale. Typically an October event, this years edition will actually bow in November. While not as traditional, the event may be blessed by being later on the IMSA calendar as well as potentially cooler weather.
For 2021 the event is expected to return to 100% occupancy. In addition the manufacturer chalets and vendor village is expected to return. It also means you should plan to get to the track early as crowds will be back. 2020’s event was rescheduled and held at 50% capacity.
Road Atlanta Flooding Impact
Road Atlanta recently closed down due to track damage from heavy rains. That closure caused the cancelation of several events. However, the track is expected to be repaired and fully operational for the Petit LeMans.
